Being a giant immortal cosmic magic super-being isn't as fun as it sounds. After an eternity of omnipotence, the thing calling itself "The Boss" is fighting desperately against his only worthy enemy: boredom. To keep things interesting, he sends his legion of loyal human servants to Earth. Their mission: give incredibly-normal people superpowers, train them in how to use them, and see what they do.
But offering superpowers to a stranger is harder than it looks-- as the servant Coach soon finds out. When he finds Tina, the waitress, he may just have found a candidate. Tina has no idea what she's getting herself into.
